In 1945, Pierre Perret du Cray married Odette Brac de la Perrière celebrating the union between two of the most ancient wine maker families in Burgundy and Beaujolais. Today, the vineyard is cultivated by their son, Roland Perret du Cray, together with the vineyard manager Serge Pigneret, himself descending from a very old grower family. The annual production of Château du Cray is of 100 / 120 000 bottles with reds 1/3 and whites 2/3.
