This pretty property located at Buxy in the Cote Chalonnaise has belonged for centuries to the family Perret du Cray whose name it carries.
In the 19th century, the wine estate extended 60 hectares. Today only 20 hectares are cultivated on the best terroirs.

In 1945, Pierre Perret du Cray married Odette Brac de la Perrière celebrating the union between two of the most ancient wine maker families in Burgundy and Beaujolais.

Today, the vineyard is cultivated by their son, Roland Perret du Cray, together with the vineyard manager Serge Pigneret, himself descending from a very old grower family.

The annual production of Château du Cray is of 100 / 120 000 bottles with reds 1/3 and whites 2/3.

Château du Cray is represented on several markets all over the world : Great-Britain, Canada, U.S, Germany, Japan...
